Check out Paul & Emily’s website for videos of Sean. The first 2 are adorable - I just want to kiss his face! But our favorite is the last one. We are trying to get Paul & Emily to send it in to funniest home videos. What do you think?

Hope you have a wonderful day! Glad that Brian had the chance to see you over the weekend! Hope to see you soon! Lots of Love on your special day!
The pictures from Kirk & Brennan’s wedding are officially done! They are so good! Steph came over to dad & Sarah’s house on Sunday night to show us the pictures. It was a great time and Steph learned more about our family than she probably wanted to! Once again, Steph was amazing at her job! There is even 1 picture that I took in there! If only you could see my face when she gave me her very expensive camera and told me to go take pictures of Brennan before she walked down the aisle. Steph, I’ll work on my speed!

Diana & Phil’s pool is finally done! The concrete is poured, the diving board is in, the chairs are by the pool, and the rafts have arrived! We had our 1st little pool party with Dan & Laura on Monday night with a great game of “Pig”.

We are all finally back to normal, feeling good and enjoying the great weather we are having lately.
The pool is in its final stages! The concrete was poured today and looks amazing. We’ve been swimming a couple of times last week before the concrete was poured….what a great time! Will post some pictures of that soon.
I participated in the Juvenile Diabetes walk today in Newport with some friends. It was a beautiful day for it too! There were so many people! I can’t wait for the Breast Cancer walk next month. For those who would like to donate or join our team please visit my homepage . If you have any questions about donations or joining our team, please don’t hesitate to ask!
Brian is flying all over the place lately. He finally has a line this month too! For those who don’t know what a “line” is I’ll explain. A line is when you know your trips a month in advance. It gives you the opportunity to actually have a life! He has 4 day trips starting on Thursdays and returning home on Sundays. He isn’t on reserve this month so he doesn’t need to be on his pager and answer to crew scheduling! He has a couple of 4 day trips with lay overs in Albany too this month!
That’s it for now….Not too much excitement with the Schefolds!
We all recieved an email this morning from Diana and I couldn’t have written it any better. This is what has been going on in the “colony” since Wednesday…..
Thought you’d all enjoy (or not) hearing what’s new here at the colony.
Wednesday I stayed home to watch little Sean, because it appeared that he was having a reaction to the six-month immunizations he received the day before, and we didn’t want to send him to Daycare feeling sick. He vomited, had diarrhea, and a fever.
The next day he was better, but I had a fever, and the other stuff.
On Thursday little Philip started hurling, but we thought it was from football practice in 95 degree weather. He was sick until yesterday.
Ashley came down with it on Thursday night. She, Paul and Em missed work on Friday, spending their day praying to the porcelain god. Luckily, that was one of my normal days to watch little Sean.
On Friday night, Brian, Laurie (who had just arrived for the weekend) and I ordered a nice dinner out and ate it secretly behind drawn curtains at my house, so the “sickies” wouldn’t be jealous or call us “mean”.
That was Brian’s last meal for a while…he spent yesterday in the fetal position on their couch, sucking on Pedialyte popsicles.
Alas, we have now figured out that Little Sean didn’t have a reaction to his shots at all, but had brought us this gift from Daycare
And now, the latest news…
Amid shouts of “I’ll never eat another portabella mushroom”, the next member of the Colony succumbed to the Plague of 2008 (AKA “the Daycare Diet”) at 5:30am, EST.
Aunt Flo is resting uncomfortably in her penthouse suite.
Just one Colony member remains unscathed…Phil stands tall and has no fear.
***Brian & I are still recovering from this sickness….I do not wish this upon my worst enemy.
Steph Carson put more pictures up from Kirk & Brennan’s wedding from over the weekend. Brian & I made it on her blog too! We took her to upstate New York for our engagement pictures a couple of years ago and we have promised to take her back. (We are working on that Steph, I promise!!) While Brian and I were up there on our vacation a couple weeks ago we were in one of the stores there and I saw a bag that said “Adirondack Bear Poo” and I had to get it. I immediately thought of Steph when I saw it. She is terrified of black bears and where did we take her….??? In the woods where black bears are! We gave it to her last weekend and we were actually wondering if she’s eaten any of it yet…..hhmmmm????
